ENTREVISTA A ROBER KIRKMAN SOBRE TERCERA TEMPORADA 1/2

Pregunta: – Después de dos temporadas en el set ya te sentirás como un viejo pro allí. ¿Qué aspectos de la producción te siguen sorprendiendo?

Robert Kirkman: – Una de las cosas que más me ha sorprendido es que me he enamorado de Georgia. La ciudad de Senoia donde estamos filmando es absulotamente preciosa... El gran cambio esta temporada es que tenemos esta increible prisión donde estamos filmando. Es absolutamente impresionante, y nunca me llego a acostumbrar a estar en el set de rodaje.

P: – ¿Cómo ha sido la construcción de la cárcel?

R.K.: – Han integrado bastante de lo que se puede ver en el cómic y le han dado vida de tal manera que pensé que sería imposible de hacer. Va a ser uno de los aspectos más impresionantes que hemos hecho para la serie.

P: – La habitación en la prisión con todas las armas y el equipamiento del SWAT del cómic. ¿Aparecerá en la serie?

R.K.: – Somos muy entusiastas de todo el armamento del SWAT aquí en la sala de los guionistas... quizás eso sea una indicación de que lo veremos en la serie. Es importante para nosotros mantener el tono de la serie.

Hasta ahora, los personajes han estado en la carretera, desesperados y viviendo al calor de una hoguera, y ahora no queremos que se relajen en este lugar seguro.

P: – Con el malvado Gobernador en juego, ¿significa que en esta temproada los humanos serán la mayor amenaza?

R.K.: – El plan fue siempre evolucionar de forma natural hacia un lugar donde esencialmente los zombies se han convertido en una amenaza manejable.

Sabes las normas. Sabes como lidiar con ello. En cierta medida, se convierten en algo que no asusta al menos que hagas un mal movimiento. Los humanos, sin embargo, no siguen ninguna norma, siempre harán algo que te sorprenda y son capaces de hacer cosas muchísimo peores que comerte.

Definitivamente vamos a ver un montón de cosas horribles.

Question: - After two seasons on the set and you'll feel like an old pro there. What aspects of production are you surprised?

Robert Kirkman: - One of the things that surprised me is that I love Georgia. The City of Senoia where we're filming is beautiful absulotamente ... The big change this season is that we have this incredible prison where we're filming. It is absolutely stunning, and I never get to get used to being on set filming. 

Q: - What has been the construction of jail?

RK: - They have built enough of what can be seen in the comics and have given life so I thought it would be impossible to do. Going to be one of the most impressive we've done for the series.

Q: - The room in the prison with all the weapons and equipment of SWAT comics. Does it appear on the show?

RK: - We are very enthusiastic of all the arms of SWAT here in the writers room ... maybe that's an indication that we will see in the series. It is important for us to keep the tone of the series. So far, the characters have been on the road, desperate and living in the heat of a fire, and now I want to relax in this safe place.

Q: - With the evil Governor in game, does that mean in this temproada humans will be the biggest threat? 

RK: - The plan was always naturally evolve to a place where essentially the zombies have become a manageable threat. You know the rules. You know how to handle it. To some extent, become something that is not scary unless you make a wrong move. Humans, however, do not follow any standards, will always surprise you and something you can do far worse things to eat. We will definitely see a lot of horrible things.
